Anyone ever go to a moveon.org house party?

I'm thinking i should...I would have loved to have seen 'Out Foxed' this past weekend. I need to meet more liberals! The only problem is....i'm shy and not comfortable with new people. I'm afraid of spending the night sitting alone in a corner. What to do?

2. Dumb question: How do i join up?

I've looked on moveon.org, and maybe i'm blind. Do i just show up? or do i officially have to join moveon.org? Thanks!

5. I have been a moveon member since

they started in the Clinton days so I get the email notifications. I don't think you have to be a member to go. The house parties should be somewhere on the site. You put in your zip and it lists those within 25 miles. There are meetups for Kerry and the Dem party but none are ever near me.

it was a group of dedicated liberals and everyone was friendly. It was nice to be among some good liberals. Glad I saw Outfoxed too.
