11. I came across Will Pitt's post

on Democrats.com back in September of 2001 or was it October of 2001? I can't remember, but one thing I know for sure -- after I came to DU, I stayed.

Of course, I got booted off during the nasty primaries, but at least I was allowed back after Kerry was the eventual nominee.

I kept quiet during all that. Although I counted myself as a Deaniac.

I felt that Dean was the best person to drive the snakes out of office.

However, I felt that DK had the best progressive message, and the best idea of where America should be going. I just didn't think he had the fire that's needed to whip these neocon asshats like Dean has.

My only hope for that now, is that Dean and DK will make enough noise to guide Kerry into stomping some bully ass.
