Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn

I was watching this the other day since it comes on right after the Daily Show. I had watched it a few times before, but thought it was attrociously lame and was conservative. I watched it this episode and he was making fun of John Kerry and Mexicans. Anyone actually watch this? Did I catch all the bad episodes or is he really this offensive?

1. I guess he's become this bad

In another episode he made fun of Moore. His guests are pretty funny somtimes, but Colin himself seems to be getting washed up, I used to like the guy but I'm starting to lose respect for him fast.

I say fire Colin and hire Leary for the job.

2. Sometimes it's not so bad,

but that's only when he has a woman or a minority on. They tend not to put up with so much of his crap. Sometimes it's hard to tell if he's right wing or just playing devil's advocate in the most obnoxious and annoying way possible. I for one can't watch it anymore, he sets my teeth on edge.

3. no hes really that offensive

and disturbing; he did this whole bit where he was almost molesting a life-size cardboard cutout of one of the olsen twins..which isn't near as bad as his constant racism. plus the guy isn't funny, and never was funny

6. Sucks the funny out of

other people, don't he? I hopped on the 'Colin Quinn is a hack' bandwagon early, back when he was doing some kind of fratboy hangover schtick on MTV in the '80s. He stank like rotten shrimp then, too, he just wasn't political -- only kinda' racist and misogynistic.

4. it's just unwatchable

some of his panel are ctually funny but they disagree with his point of view. I don't think his show will last much longer. Quinn first and then Miller.

7. I did not C that

particular episode - but from past experience I would venture - Yes, he really is that offensive, obnoxious, odious and lame. I tried 2 watch it when it first aired, thinking, like U, mayB I caught an off night. I could never get beyond the first 5 minutes. Now I can't hit that 'go back' button fast enough. Why/How this lame-ass program continues in the line-up is a mystery.

8. One of the

quickest responses I have anymore is to change the channel after the Daily Show as fast as I can. The only reflex that is faster is my middle finger when Bush* comes on.

10. Greg Geraldo is Very Funny

And there have been times when Quinn has defended Kerry, surprisingly. He's very right-wing, but when you get some of guys like Geraldo, and some of the African-American or female comics... the show can balance out.

Just not funny.

Quinn's a hack. The Daily Show gets Emmy nominations left & right, but I don't think anyone really watches Quinn's show.

For me, it's Futurama at 11:30.
