What was the theme song of your prom?
Our junior prom was REO Speedwagon's "Keep on Loving You"
Our senior ball was The Who's "The Song is Over"
(can you tell I'm trying to kill time while waiting to get a hold of my mom?)

"We May Never Pass this Way Again"
The students voted on "Shattered", but the school nixed it. But the band played "Shattered" as the last song anyway :)

The only high school dance I ever went to was Homecoming during my sophomore year.
By the time my Senior Prom happened, I had already graduated and was living 600 miles away.
But I think it was probably something like "I'm Not in Love" by 10cc

4. I didn't have a prom song, but I went to a friends prom with her.... |

...junior year and I think it was some Journey song that I don't recollect. One of their minor hits. Something about a night lasting forever. I only remember it because for the longest time the souveneir glass with a quote from the song printed on it was still at my parents house.
I forget why my school didn't have a prom song. Our prom was something all 4 grades in high school could attend since I went to a pretty small private school. Since most of the kids in my school were faux dead heads I'm surprised it wasn't a grateful dead song.

My school was pretty decent about not selecting crappy songs for the theme -- it was usually a book or a movie. The one Homecoming dance I remember was "Where the Wild Things Are."

I went to the prom, only because I knew my g/f really wanted to go although she said she didn't want to. I figured I best take her because I didn't want to be the one that she remembered 20 years later and thinking I was a dick for making her miss her prom. I swear...I didn't know there was even a theme, but I guess there probably was.
