What's the term for bands that copy other famous bands....
like here in Charlotte there's a band that play Led Zep. I heard the beginning of a radio piece on those types bands but wasn't able to hear it all.

If they only play one band's material.

Cover bands if they play other bands' songs.

7. Yes.Tthat's the term that was used. Thanks, much I used to see
a band at the beach in Charleston, SC that did oldies. Wouldn't meet the Tribute Band def, but they were greatly popular for just playing old, fun type songs.... Called the Cruis-o-matics

12. Difference between cover bands and tribute bands...
...Cover bands play the songs of a number of artists or groups. Tribute bands play the songs of only one artist or group.
