Need Computer help (and I'm a tech!) |
|
Geez, this is embarrassing, me being a MCSE and computer tech but in my defense, I've never encountered this before.
I installed Windows XP pro on my Sony laptop (GRX-520..fairly new)
Anyway, everything works like it should and I mean everything EXCEPT, When I'm on a site like DU with long pages, every time I scroll down to see posts etc, I get these "waves" like the page is refreshing instead of scrolling smoothly (like my desktop). I can read it and all that but it seems to "jerk" a lot.
I checked the Task Manager and the processes and I'm only using 4-7 percent so it's not the processor bogging down. I'm Stumped...any ideas?

4. Definitely update both the video card driver and the monitor driver |
|
One or the other is probably using the generic default driver, and doesn't play well with it.

You won't have that problem again.
Buying a PC was your first mistake.
