I'm sitting here, tapping my toes, and wishing it was ten already so I could go out and hit my favorite bar here in town. Who else here is waiting to make the best of their Friday night?

I am trying to finish up this story at work but I've having trouble putting it all together. In the meantime, I am chatting away at DU and going out for many smoke breaks to try and get the juices flowing.

5. yep....it's taxis for me tonight

it's not exactly safe for a woman in new york city to go out by way of the bus or the subway late at night. So I always stick to taxis whenever I can find them.

When ever I go into the City, it's usually by train and then we either walk or take the taxis around town.

If I'm with my boyfriend he usually drives into the city and then I'm not really worried about people bothering us. But I guess it's different for guys as far as safety is concerned, like from muggers and killers and thieves, oh my.

When you are leaving at 10:00, I'll be herding my kids back into bed for the 3rd or 4th time, sitting down on the couch, and watching a flick with my wife.

That's my usual Friday Night, and I wouldn't want it any other way...

22. jsut came back from mom and kids trip to the pool

with an old friend and fellow mom, whom I used to sow my wild oats with when we were collegians. Now we talk about who sowed too many oats and got divorced or went to rehab. Ah, nostalgia.

getting kids to bed by 10 is pretty impressive. Mine goes to bed later, but then he isn't up at 6. :)
