so I read any post dealing with new poll results (particularly state polls) eagerly. I particularly like TruthIsAll's prediction posts, though I don't understand half of what he says.

I enjoy reading argument threads, even though I don't generally participate in DU arguments. It's just very interesting to read the point/counterpoint discussions.

where I post the occasional reply, question, or poll. A particular favorite of mine are the "Most _________ President of the last 50 years" polls.

19. You see, my dear CatWoman,

a few years ago - back when I was in high school - I wrote a piece for my high school band. It had no title at first. But it just so happened that some friends of mine had just introduced me to a little something called marijuana (that's a Spanish term as well), and under that herbal influence, I named my piece The Magic Dog. As I was in Spanish class at the time as well, I nicknamed the piece El Perro Magico.

A chow-chow. He died earlier this year at the ripe old age of 14. Lived a good life.
