1. What type of food is 'typical' for your part of the country?

I take it you are from New York (pardon me if I am wrong). I was wondering what part, and if there was a specialty food from your area.

3. Well, I live in a West Indian neighborhood (in Brooklyn)

So we have lots of jerk chicken, roti, and oxtail (which I have yet to try -- it terrifies me a bit). There's a great Caribbean restaurant called "The Islands" nearby that makes GREAT jerk chicken with rice & beans.

5. Wish I were

I have a friend working in Central Park this summer in a little play called "Much Ado About Nothing", and would love to see him!

If you go back a hundred years or so, however, you'd find my kinfolk all over NY, including Long Island. They just got a wild notion to move west, so that's where I am.

(It's in a little park called Central!) That's a great day. You should definitely try to come out and see your friend.

I've had several friends who have seen it, and have all the reviews. I hope that somehow it is videotaped-I'd like to compare it with the 1972 Shakespeare in the Park production.
