When do kids come to terms with Robert Downey, Jr? |

I don't know about most, but my first experience with facing the reality of his existence was his prophetic and portentous role in "Less Than Zero" in 1987. Art preceding life, I suppose.
On edit: Yep, my mistake, it's late, or early depending on your perspective.

4. He is? Oops, since I put my TV in the garage, I've missed |

a lot. All I remember of him is he had huge teeth. And he looked like he was in super-bad health. Well, I guess that proves it.
That was Mort Downey.
Now as far as Robert Downey, I could never understand how someone who is so incredibly dysfunctional could be such an awesome actor. Maybe the 2 are interconnected? Hm.
Anyway, it's really sad to see such a talented, handsome young man rekindle his love affair with crack cocaine, or whiskey, or whatever is calling out to him. It'll never let him go. Sad.
