WOW! What a show! Great opener with Shakedown Street and it only got better from there.

Also, Bob Weir made a plea FROM THE STAGE, that people register to VOTE. There were people walking around the parking lot ready to register new voters. They had a stand set up right outside the entrance to the concert as well as a stand INSIDE the show.

HEY DEADHEADS....VOTE....it's not "cool" anymore to drop out.

Here are the tunes played...

He's Gone ->
Drums ->

1. The shows earlier at Red Rocks were fantastic as well.

While I really liked the addition of Joan Osbourne to the group last year, this season's twin lead guitar attack of Warren Haynes and Jimmy Herring was spectacular (although Jimmy was relentless and wonderful last year on his own.)

Warren also did a great job of singing some Jerry tunes this time around. See them if you can, music lovers!

3. Too good....
I have goosebumps right now just thinking of that show. I even ordered the CD from Munckmusic.com. It should arrive at my house within four weeks. I know I could probably download it from etree.org but I am a perfectionist and want a perfect copy. I download shows but I want a pristine copy of shows I have attended.
