did any of you happen to watch any of the first season of The Surreal Life? Hammer was a really cool and down to Earth guy. And, from what I understand, he always has been. But seeing him in an unscripted environment was illuminating. He strikes me as the kind of guy any of us could sit down and enjoy a conversation over a burger with.
The same could be said about Ron Jeremy in the current incarnation of The Simple Life.
Disclaimer: I Hate reality TV but watched the show twice because the idea intrigued me.
