Waiting for his 'dad' to get home (cute dog pic)
Edited on Sat Jul-24-04 05:22 PM by Padraig18
I know that Brody loves me, but he decided long ago that Tony was his 'dad', just like our other dog, Grover, decided I was his. This is what he does every day about this time, as he waits for Tony to get home...

1. A level of faith and devotion unfound in humans...
...and always humbling to behold. Cool pic.

3. That's the same position
my babies take up when waiting for me. The tops of my loveseat and sofa are smashed in from the weight. Wouldn't trade them for anything in the world. Hugs and treats to Brody and Grover.

7. does your baby get excited before they can even see Tony? Mine
can tell when I decide to come home that I'm coming. Weird but true.

8. He sure does
He knows the sound of Tony's car, and starts barking and doing his 'happy dance' even before Tony's car turns the corner.

:)

11. What a cutie!
That picture is so similar to mine I have to post it. Dogs seem to become really attached to one specific person in the family for some reason. My dog is waiting for the mailman...

14. He's beautiful!
I sometimes wonder if Brody is so attached to Tony because Tony rescued him and his littermate, or if it's because he understood that I am Grover's 'dad', and he wanted his own...

23. Yeah, then I come home
I might get a quick hello, before he dashes off to mug my mother.

I think my puppies are just bitter because I left.

16. He's very 'tender-hearted'...
He's one of those that you can just crush with no more than a harsh word or a hard look. He's a total sweetheart.

18. My roommate's dog is like that.
Patrick has a day job and I'm unemployed. As a result, no sooner am I out of bed in the, well, afternoon then Mystique is at my bedroom door, just waiting for me to open it so she can lick my hand.

As I've stated previously, this is the first time in my 38 years that I've lived with pets. And I really like it! :loveya:

19. Pets are awesome!
They add sooooo much to our lives, and ask so little in return.

22. Yes, I'm finding that out.
Mystique is a 50-pound pit bull who thinks she's a lap dog. And don't let her breed fool you; Mystique is the gentlest, most affectionate dog I've ever known!

As of late, both Mystique and Palazar (one of Patrick's two cats) have taken a liking to my bed. It's not at all unusual to find them both sound asleep on it at the same time!

20. My goodness he has
gotten so big! I love this, so sweet. That is the one thing I really love about dogs. If you come home unhappy you can't stay that way for long. Welcome home Tony!
