When I was a teenager in East Texas in the 60's I played trumpet in a blue eyed soul band that covered Sam and Dave, Otis Redding, Bar Kays, Wilson Picket et al for dances at the local hotel ballroom. We used to make $300 and split it seven ways and feel like freaking rock stars.

The greatest blue eyed soul band in the region back in those days was Sin Sity Soul from Bosier City. Those guys were total pros. Man THOSE dances were FUUUUUN. It was a more innocent time back then.

Anyway, your show's chosen genre is fertile ground for great tunage. I'm gonna check it.
