In Boston! How do you think the Repubs are going to spin this, with it happening just before the DNC in Boston. :eyes:

2. Any one get tossed?
Edited on Sat Jul-24-04 04:11 PM by coalminersdaughter
Did someone get hit by a pitch? What started it? Someone from Cleveland got tossed out of the Jake this week because, according to hime, he was bashing Bush. My daughter said he stood outside yelling "Vote for Kerry!" after he was purged from the stadium.

edit: should have proofread, but the dryer was buzzing me.

3. Several guys got tossed
It started when the Red Sox pitcher hit the batter. The Red Sox catcher, Jason Varitek, got into a shoving match with the Yankee with the Yankee. The benches cleared and punches were thrown. One guy had blood running down his face. Several players got tossed. Sorry, I'm not sure their names at the moment.

7. A-Rod got hit by the pitch
he and Varitek mixed it up pretty good...Ranger game just mentioned it.

I hope it was A-Rod doing the bleeding. Varitek is a tough dude.

10. Sturtz is the only one bleeding
He went after Gabe Kapler, and Ortiz & Nixon tried to rip his head off. They barely failed. :)

14. Not a good year for it, is it?
Four years ago they couldn't do anything wrong (at least up until the playoffs) and now they can't do anything right.

17. Hey at least the pain happened early.

Two years in a row they led the AL West til the middle of
September and lost out to Oakland.

At least this way I know it's over in July.

BTW: They released Olerud today when they couldn't negotiate
any value for him.
