No bush*/cheney signs in Florida panhandle. What up?

We just took a drive across the panhandle of Florida, and did not see one Bush* / Cheney sign. Campaign signs were abundant on every corner and in yards, along the way. Recalling the 2000 election, they were everywhere, along with a great many bumper stickers. Not one bumper stickers. No Kerry either, but seems a big difference from 2000. How 'bout your area? We are all red up here in the panhandle.

2. In Orlando, the Kerry stickers are starting to outnumber Bush's.

It's a pretty cool sight to see. This place was Dubya Country this time last year...now, it's easily 50-50.

3. I saw some Bush signs in the Panhandle a few weeks ago...

...in yards in a well-to-do section near Eglin Air Force Base. On the other hand, the local paper there, which for years had only printed right wing views, printed some anti-Bush op-eds the week I was there.

4. Most signs won't be out until August or September.

Signs lose their effect if they are placed too soon.

5. I drove from Columbus to Chicago and back.....

....and saw one Bush/Cheney bumper sticker .... saw a couple dozen Kerry stickers. That's the results of the bumper sticker poll in the midwest.
