I absolutely loved the book, and im afraid they screwed it up so much that i wont like it...

4. I rented the original and really liked it....
After seeing the interview with Streep and Washington on an early morning news program... I have reservations about it. They did change the story some and consolidated parts....

For those that didn't see the interview.. Streep was very vocal on her opinions about bush and his courting the religious right. Basically she asked..."What would Jesus Do?". I thought she really slammed the moral majority with them saying "Turn the other cheek." and then supporting the war where thousands of innocent people are killed.

I was more impressed with her views than what she had to say about the film.

I may wait to see it on DVD...
