Stop the Presses! They just named the new Star Wars Film!
It's called "Espisode III-The Revenge of the Sith".

Due out May 2005. If it's anything like the last two Star Wars-I'll be saving my hard-earned $$$ and staying home. I fell asleep at "Phantom Menace".

1. If Hayden Christensen is starring, I won't bother either.
He dragged down the performance of everyone surrounding him in the utterly limp "Attack of the Clones", including Natalie Portman, and that rubbish was far better than "Phantom Menace" (which seemed like Jar Jar was more menacing than the little brat Anakin...)

I gather, in Ep III, there's a dude named "General Grievus". :eyes: Sounds as dreadful as Darth Tyrannus... :eyes: :eyes:

Ep II at least had a nice Boba Fett scene, though they dragged it on for way too long. But one scene in an otherwise gaudy, tacky movie isn't enough. (I could see through half the computer video game effects as well... at least the original Trilogy (eps IV-VI) had decent looking model ships and didn't go whacko-overboard with the effects, and that there was enough of a plot to keep it going...)

3. Another reason not to see it...
Yup, "Revenge" is trite.

It was even considered in 1983's "Revenge of the Jedi" before they renamed it to a kid-friendly "Return of the Jedi".

I wonder how they'll screw this one up.

6. you would

think that George would have at least hired someone to present a few titles to test groups to gauge reaction. Titles can literally sell a movie if catchy enough. This title falls short of imagination.

4. It should have been called "Rise of the Empire"
This movie better be good. If it sucks, I just may have to shit in an envelope and mail it to George Lucas.
