I spent two weeks there a couple of years ago. I was in the southern most tip, the little town of Placencia. The people are a diverse mix and extremely friendly. You can hear dozens of different languages being spoken. And the natural beauty...incomparable!

are some of the most friendly and kind. I did not get to spend any time on the mainland, we were on a diving trip to Blackbird Cay, but the native people there were so kind. I have several friends who lived here for a while from Belize and they were the best. What a beautiful, beautiful place it is.
Actually, having spent time in Central America I would say that almost all of the people I met from any of those countries are very kind and it is all beautiful.
