Humid Gulf weather? And I detect a note of complaint? I would be thanking my lucky stars.

9. I lived in Tulsa for a couple years and
loved it. What a beautiful city and nice people!

At the time I did a morning radio show and was teamed up with the former Democratic Mayor of the City, Terry Young. The guy is brilliant and I've lost touch with him. If you are him or know his whereabouts, please let me know, ok? Get it, OK? Sorry. That is an example of the cutting edge humor that led to our demise. Terry, the last I heard, was living in Oklahoma City.

10. Tulsa
really is a good city. Of course, it's easier to say that now from 900 miles away than it was when I was growing up bored, but the grass is always greener, I suppose.
