BUSH RECEIVED FAULTY INTELLIGENCE FROM GOD

By John Breneman

A Senate panel said that not only did the U.S. use bad information to justify the war in Iraq, it also weighed in on a report that President Bush may have received faulty intelligence from God.

Bush, who claims to have consulted the Lord before making the decision to go to war, said God convinced him that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and told him Saddam Hussein was a "madman" and a "freedom-hating thug." When asked specifically if Hussein was connected to al Qaeda, Bush said the Creator-in-Chief responded, "Yep."

But the Senate panel investigating pre-war intelligence said that, even though the president talks about religion a lot and ends every speech with the words "God Bless America," it could find no direct link between President Bush and the Lord.

However, Vice President Dick Cheney defended a possible White House-Heaven link, saying the absence of documentation that Bush talked directly to God does not mean such a meeting did not take place.

2. funny. and yet, bush probably believes this
well, he still believes the intelligence her received was (a) what god wanted him to receive and (b) the truth.

and bush could ever be convinced that (b) was not the case, he would still believe (a). that is, even if the intelligence were false, he would still believe that god wanted him to receive that faulty intelligence and go to war over it. the lord moves in mysterious ways, but god obviously wanted bush to get rid of sadaam because sadaam was eeeevil. but god knew that america doesn't think that that's a good enough reason. so god give bush the faulty intelligence so he would have an excuse.

that god guy sure is clever....

3. Understandable. The wires in his head are all crossed.
It's a wonder that he can still string a sentence together, and now even *that's* pushing it.

4. In other news the Rx companies agreed to pay 87 billions dollars
To cover the cost of the war in Iraq, because they cut corner's in the Psychological Drugs Bush takes.
