It's that or have them fighting over fish guts all night.

1. Now that you mention it...

My young man and I have been arguing for the last hour over some chicken bones at the bottom of an almost empty garbage bag. I've decided I'm just going to have to give in and take it out to the dumpster.

3. Mine eat prescription drugs and bury them in the garbage.
They , esp my huge black male, like to do this late at night. I have to empty the garbage to find my pills!

4. I stick my fish guts in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer

That way no smell will obligate me to take out the trash earlier than I normally would--when the bag fills up, I simply transfer the guts bag to the trash.

5. Merlin silently prowls the house at night, searching for anything...
the smallest little tidbit to feast upon. You see, he thinks we starve him. ;)

7. mine, too
and scatter the trash everywhere in the process. i usu spray a little lysol into the top of the can each night; they hate the smell, so there's 1 less cause for insomnia.
