Let's make our own Top 10 Conservative Idiots List: List your nominees!!!
It has to be something that happened this past week!

My first nominee will be the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas. They catered to a few people who booed Linda Ronstadt because she dedicated a song to Michael Moore. And the hotel management just walked Ms. Ronstadt out without even allowing her back to her hotel room. But fate is a funny thing - Aladdin was sold recently and the new management promises to bring Linda back to perform!!

Who do you nominate and why!!

17. You should have seen how they figured the Electoral college vote
The best they could do was make it Kerry 301 Bush 237

I caught it yesterday morning and they were showing the battle ground states. Somehow they had W winning Fla. (Mason-Dixon 2 point lead in polls which they don't pay attention to mind you)

I can't remember which state it was but they had Kerry leading 47.7 to 44.4-the only one they showed with a decimal point thus avoiding having to say 48-44 (with rounding) which is outside of the margin of error-they said it was basically a statistical dead heat.

3. Bush & Wolfowitz
4. Bush & Rice (nope, won't go there)
5. Bush & Libby
6. Bush & Feith

3. I'll niminate two:
(1) Sean Hannity: the poster boy of right-wing stupidity, Sean continues to mistake "loud" for "right," and "rude" for "insight."

(2) Robert Novak: the CNN NoFacts played lap-dog to White House efforts to expose CIA operative Valerie Plame. For that alone, he needs to rank high on your list.

I like that you quote Abbie ! He was a wonderful man, and I wish he were still with us today.

6. Thanks! I love Abbie Hoffman - named my cat after him
But half the time I call him Abbott - usually because he's doing something bad. When we snuggle he's Abbiee!

11. When my cats are bad.....
they insist upon being called Barry Freed, or being ignored altogether. Abbie understood the importance of making people laugh....and we need to laugh at these right-wing nerds and turds the same as we would have in high school.

The last time I saw Abbie, he gave me a signed copy of "Steal This Urine Test." Someone eventually "borrowed" the book .... which often means they stold it. He just went off that day .... he was sooo funny. Went off on the politics of the day.

35. When Abbie was Barry Freed.....
....(that was his assumed name, wasn't it?) my boyfriend-at-the-time knew him, and didn't even know it was Abbie Hoffman! They were kinda friends. Michael had stayed at his house there in the 1000 Islands, so he knew his girlfriend too.

Michael almost DIED when he found out his friend was acutally Abbie Hoffman. He was a big Abbie fan from way back at the demonstrations, and he'd never had a clue. He was in shock for a month.

4. Isn't georgie boy on the list everyweek?
If not he deserves to be, for just being the usual dink that he his.

But this week he did say, "I want to be the peace president." Yeah right, asshole. Prove it.

And then, for saying this shit at the Urban League

"Blacks are gagging on the donkey but not yet ready to swallow the elephant. (Laughter and applause.)

Now that was said a while ago. (Laughter.) I believe you've got to earn the vote and seek it. I think you've got to go to people and say, this is my heart, this is what I believe, and I'd like your help. And as I do, I'm going to ask African American voters to consider some questions.

Does the Democrat party take African American voters for granted? (Applause.) It's a fair question. I know plenty of politicians assume they have your vote. But do they earn it and do they deserve it? (Applause.) Is it a good thing for the African American community to be represented mainly by one political party? That's a legitimate question. (Applause.) How is it possible to gain political leverage if the party is never forced to compete? (Applause.) Have the traditional solutions of the Democrat party truly served the African American community?"

yep, http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2004/07/20040723-8.html

he actually said that

7. Here's mine (so far)
Arnold Schwarzenegger

Just for being Arnold. His 'girly men' statement.

Sean Hannity

Scrappy-Doo promises to go to the DNC convention to get in some Democrats' faces.

The RNC

For sending the Republican 'Truth Squad', consisting of the likes of Saxby Chandliss and Norm Coleman. Chandliss benefitted from one of the dirtiest smear campaigns in recent memory. And the funniest part is Coleman, who switched from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party in the late 90s, will accuse Kerry of flip-flopping. Uhhh, yeah.

13. Florida St. Senator Lee Constantine
Constantine's car was stopped in the early hours of Mother's Day. He was swerving all over the road. When the police stopped Constantine he became beligerent and insisted on calling Orange Sheriff Kevin Beary (Constatine and Beary are both Republicans). Constatine had a hard time reaching Beary; then he started berating the police about who he was! He was taken in custody and released. Now he is claiming he was falsely arrested! This is a guy that is constantly saying that Democrats don't believe in personal responsibility. If this wasn't bad enough, he is the only graduate of the Unviersity of Central Florida serving in the Florida Legislature. A few years ago, some of his constituents that work at UCF drove to Tallahassee for an appointment and when they arrived (I was one of them), he wouldn't see us. Folks, this is a five hour drive from Orlando. His aide would not even take my business card.

John Edwards represented. This case was not some silly, frivilous lawsuit. It shows, once again, what a vile creep Tucker Carlson is.

He's not the most well-read about politicians but he liked that Edwards defended the 'little guys' in the cases he's done. Said that Edwards is what swayed him to definately vote for Kerry/Edwards this november and believe me the guy is a lifetime republican

22. NO WAY
gotta link?

Sounds typical.

When I first registered to vote I filled out my form at the local tax collector's office. At the time I did not realize he was big in the republican party and that he had already picked out my party (repuke). When I left for college 5 months later, I met up with the college republicans and found them to be ghastly preppy dullards. Then I worked with another democrat on campus to help start the Young Democrats at our campus (there was none). Oh and I switched parties immediately!

Ironic thing is, I never did anything to ever indicate that I was a republican. This was 1984 and I was already quite vocal about not being a fan of Ronald Reagan

34. Heard it on NPR
It was broadcast on Sunday 7/25. Here's a link:

OK, it happened last month but I didn't hear it until recently, so I think it qualifies for "Top Ten" status this week.

Which is the rag owned by Richard Mellon-Scaife

Need I say anymore?

BTW: Here's the article from the Reporter:

http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/tribune-review/trib/pmupdate/s_205203.html

And here's a link for who owns the Tribune:
http://www.who2.com/richardscaife.html

So essentially the guy pretty much was told to get into Teresa's face in order to 'trip her up' I think anyone who is critical about Teresa because of this comment should realize where this story is coming from. I'm sure Scaife will be willing to spend millions of dollars to try to bring down the Kerrys just like he tried to do with the Clintons
