DU needs more emoticons!
Edited on Mon Jul-26-04 11:32 AM by name not needed
I propose the following:

http://www.metboard.com/html/emoticons /bum.gif

call it "matcom"

http://www.metboard.com/html/emoticons /deadhorse.gif

http://www.metboard.com/html/emoticons /whooo.gif

http://www.metboard.com/html/emoticons /drunk.gif

http://www.metboard.com/html/emoticons /drinkers.gif

I put spaces in for some reason.

3. You know,
I'm having the same kinds of problems. I've seen them online before. Wonder what those peeps did that was different from what we're doing?

8. There site probably has a direct link block
I have one on my site as well. I have a huge gallery of animated cats and one of hippie, deadhead graphix. I pay for to have my site housed on a server, and every time the bandwidth use goes too high, they shut my site down. With all the people who linked to my graphix, my site would only be on line one week a month.

For many of us, having people link to our graphix is a nightmare. I've seen great sites disappear because of it. Some people try changing the names of the graphix, which is a pain to do, and doesn't work after a few days anyway. Some people set up passwords to get to graphix so that no one links to them. Some even put code to ensure that no one can right click on their site. The emoticon site seems to use a code that sends a message when the graphix is linked to.

I know it is fun to link to graphics on forums, heck I find myself doing it here, but believe me, for those people who aren't big businesses or little folks like me who just like to play with html and java, direct linking can be a big problem. I pay for the bandwidth used when people come to visit. I would also end up paying a lot if everyone who used direct links to my site were allowed to do so.

remind me of Beavis during his Cornholio bout?

Anyhow, I like the smiley that rolls back and forth. I'm looking for an example of it right now.

This page has one that's along the lines of what I'm looking for. It's the ezbroll one, but the one I was thinking of is yellow and looks quite a bit more more gleeful.
