I have a blister on my second toe in on each foot. (walked 7 miles yesterday just getting through security here at dnc) Obviously, something is rubbing in my shoes, and so I was going to put in some little cushion things, but there is the little problem that currently, the blisters are about the size of an additional toe. (sorry, disgusting image :scared:). So anything I put in now will only hurt more. What.. um... should I do?

sterilize a needle, carefully prick the blister near the botton and drain, cover with bandage. Head over to your local Walgreens and pick up "Moleskin," which is an adhesive felt that you put over the spots that are being rubbed. Voila, no more blisters.
edited for spelling, whoops!

pop it with a sterilized needle, but DO NOT RIP THE SKIN OFF.
Use some bacitracin ointment on it and a bandaid while you're wearing a shoe, but try to let it get some air too.

3. Contrary to CW, I leave 'em alone. |

Reduce them with cold and don't mess with them. The skin provides a bacteria-safe seal and they re-adhere in a couple of days.

4. Everytime I visit NY I get huge blisters |
|
Probably because I walk around for five hours at a time. So, beginning my second day there I take cabs everywhere.
I feel your pain. I blister easily. I can't get a callous anywhere. (Except maybe on my ass during football season from watching too much TV).
