Pompous, Pretentious or Pedantic.
If you're going to reply, you've got to reply in one of those three styles.

It's a beautiful day for a walk.

Pointing out ones obvious yet inconsequential mistake in a public arena is so very vulgar and boorish...*tsk*

Boulevards, according to Webster's, are broad and tree-lined. This is neither.

You did say "pederastic," right?

8. Actually posting in this thread will not necessarily exhibit the styles
you've chosen. The forum doesn't provide a wide enough scope to cover your topics thoroughly. The best way to do this would be to offer some rules and conditions with which to proceed, such as pararaphs of equal word length deliniating the different aspects said styles represent. Thus a true "compare and contrast" setting will be manifest.

15. Actually the correct use of the asterisk is for the purposes of citing, as
a bibliography. Apostrophes would better serve the function you seek to employ.

13. Actually that is the correct response for a musical performance not for
a critique of the venue for vetting the differences between these different styles of asshol-ity. The correct exultation would be "well said" or "succinct and correct, sir"

19. Actually the thread inherently is void of dignity as it is merely a string
of 1's and 0's pieced together in a way which represents the keystrokes generated by the posters therein. The dignity lies with the thread originator - or the lack of said dignity, respective to your personal tastes.

24. actually I imply no judgement with my instructions on the appllication of
correct usage of the English language to discribe the thoughts and ideas of the posters to your thread. Your attempt to emotionally belittle me is a futile one in that I, as a sentient and thorough mind, cannot be brushed aside with a display of childlike braggadochio.

27. Actually, when one takes into account the post count of the originator
Edited on Mon Jul-26-04 01:57 PM by ChavezSpeakstheTruth
of the thread in question one can surmise, correctly, that this thread is, in fact, the work of a long-time thread originator. One can also conclude, once again quite correctly, that it is the work of a man who has not left the confines of his homeor office for quite some span of time.

edit - rare spelling error

31. Technically, it's not day
...at least over 50% of the planet or even longer for those considering "day" to contain "daylight" such as denizens of the South Pole, which is probably in total darkness 24/7 right at the moment.

You do not "got" to reply in any form. A more proper usage would be "you should reply in one of these styles" and list the styles in the context of the post so that if the subject has scrolled beyond the top of the page, they are still visible.

"a walk" is passive and considered bad form. "walking" would be best, as "to be walking" is also passive.
