Help... computer dummy need help with beagle virus |
|
I know a little about computers, but I'm not really that good with stuff.
I opened an attachment this morning, and Symantec automatically quarantined it. So my stupid question is what do I do now?
Should I delete the file in quarantine? Or call my brother in law, that knows what he is doing?
I'm afraid to do anything at this point. In case I hit the wrong button.
The last time I caught a virus it took my brother in law 3 weeks before he could get anything fixed, and I don't think I can live with out DU that long again.
Thanks in advance for any advice. :)

go to this website and download the .exe to remove all the beagle virus files. The link is about half way down the page. http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.beagle@mm.removal.tool.html
