A Special Good Morning DU!

Okay, you knew it was coming, I have to mention Bill and last night's speech. The man is brilliant, wonderful, so charismatic. I just can't say enough. When I listen to him, it's like there IS hope for a better time than we're living in right now. I miss him! And I'm sure there are a lot of you that do as well. So, Bill's speech got me thinking. Actually, quite a few other speeches did as well. We tend to take so much in life for granted, why not make sure we don't have any regrets? My challenge to you, tell at least one person in your life how much they mean to you today. It doesn't have to be some huge, sappy thing. Just a simple "I love you" or "thanks for what you do". I think we all need a little more positive in a world so filled with negativity.

9. Book tip

Have you bought his book 'My Life"? I did, I don't read much but is good...then I saw the CD set (6pack) in the store and I knew I had to get it. Hear Bill talk.WOW!

BTW: I commute 1 hr round trip every day to work.

That's a good reminder to everyone. We should never take those around us for granted. I work with many women from Somalia, they have repeatedly reminded me of this. Every morning I go in to work and get a hug from each of them when I arrive. What a great way to start the day! But sometimes, I'm running late and in a hurry, or just stressed and I forget. Always, at least one of them will reach out and grab me as I am running past. They smile at me and I stop and we give each other a big hug! It's amazing, you know, the stress just disappears!

:hug: Isn't it amazing how just one little hug or just one hello makes things better? Could you imagine if half of the people in the world did that to just one person, what the difference it might make? Sure, things wouldn't be perfect, but they'd be a little easier to deal with.

I am still very excited over last night's convention, which is why I'm up so early, it's 10 a.m. est, I never get up this early because I usually work second shift. Last night I was off and watch the convention from like 7 p.m. on. I went to the beach for most of the afternoon.

Bill's speech was maybe the best speech I ever heard, so was Hill's too.

I liked when Bill made a statement and ended by "Send Me" and then at the end of his speech he said: "Send John Kerry"!!!

I think that Bill "killed" the Rethugs last night.

This convention is off to such a great start. Can't wait to hear the speakers tonight.
