I got flamed for this earlier but I have a theory about her. Candy is usually assigned to the presumptive " loser " ticket during the campaign. She covered Dole in his uninspired run for office, then Bush 2000 when it was expected Gore would trounce him (like he should have). She has insight and usually gives a good explanation on how a campaign failed.

It will be interesting where she will be assigned. I hate to say it but....my guess is Kerry/Edwards.

8. Personally...

I'm glad to see a reporter other than some anorexic, bleach blonde, Max Factor overdo, talking puppet on the air. She's big, she's not terribly pretty, she obviously dislikes make-up, but she is brilliant. However, all that being said... While she was covering BushCo. in 2000, she was so obviously pro Bush I wanted to throw up. Every time she would mention Gore, she'd get a serious scowl and wonder aloud about his ability, but when mentioning Bush, she'd light up like a Christmas tree, actually at one point bouncing with glee on election night... Too bad she doesn't fit the Fox Female Mold, she'd fit in much better at the fairly unbalanced news propaganda organization.
