Kennedy just tore Bush apart
He said what we have been wanting to hear for several years.

We are going to win everyone.

Can you feel it?

7. I was putting up groceries while I was listening to Ted
Sweetheart deals in the back room (Haliburton), making Allies into enemies, illegal war, something about min. wage, etc.

To tell you the truth I think that Ted Kennedy is reading the posts on DU. Everything that has been talked about on here was pretty much in his speech.

The part that I like the best was lies and deception.

Wow he ripped Bush a new a-hole.

What do you want to bet that Faux will be running a show on Chappaquiddick next week.

8. He said something to the effect of
thanks to patriots we no longer live under King George who inherited his crown . . . although it might seem like it sometimes :)

Something like that.

9. We're going to win
but only if we keep riding this wave of momentum. Keep it going, folks! From today right through to November 2.

11. link to EMK's speech
http://www.legitgov.org/speech_kennedy_dem_convention_072704.html

~snip~

There’s a reason why this land was called "the American experiment." If dedication to the common good were hardwired into human nature, we would never have needed a revolution. If each of us cared about the public interest, we wouldn’t have the excesses of Enron. We wouldn’t have the abuses of Halliburton. And Vice President Cheney would be retired to an undisclosed location.

Soon, thanks to John Kerry and John Edwards, he’ll have ample time to do just that.

~snip~

True to our highest and noblest ideals, we intend to use that power. We will use it wisely and well. We will use it, in the poet’s words my brothers loved, "to strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield." We will use it to heal, to build, to hope, and to dream again. And in doing so, we will truly make our country once more America the Beautiful.
