I just got Yahoo messenger on my computer.

It is so cool. I am utilizing the radio feature on it. How cool is that? It is playing Bohemian Rhapsody now.

It's the Typhoid Mary of messengers. Keep those virus definitions up to date, and run your anti-spyware program often.

Yahoo, had this huge flaw in the Summer of 2002; then they had another in late 2003. ICQ is probably the most secure, but none of them are great on security.

It's also one of the most popular, that's one of the reasons there's more exploits for it. It the same reason that Windows has viruses while Mac doesn't - only a small percentage of people use Macs. There's no bragging rights in writing a virus that only affects a small percentage of people.
