When he mentioned his 3 kids, I commented that he doesn't look old enough to have three kids! Wow, 43! And I thought I looked young for my age! LOL

Herb Caen ragged on him for being long winded. A political writer for the Chronicle wrote of his impending rise to power by outlining the formation of the DLC and it's promise to move the party to the middle and Bill being one of the major players.

an incredibly impressve orator.
ron, jr & teresa were marvelous also. my SIO cried, & i blinked alot, when the 12 y.o. spoke. wish i'd had that strength & courage @ that age.
