WHOA!!! I just saw a bright flash of light ...
followed by the loudest, longest crack of thunder I've ever heard! I thought someone dropped a bomb! :scared:

we're getting hit hard! But that first crack of thunder was the worst. The house shook and the windows vibrated. Damn, I got really scared and it was just thunder ... those poor people that got "shocked and awed" in Iraq must have been absolutely terrified! :-(

3. Sweetheart, it's called a THUNDERSTORM...
Sorry, the smart ass in me almost took over. It'll be ok. Just stay away from windows. Hope you get rain and hopefully it's cooled off there. Be safe.

But I swear, I have NEVER heard a single crack of thunder that loud or last that long. WTF was that? :shrug:

We have thunder snow storms. It actually thunders and lightens during a snow storm.
