ARRRGH! My coffee pot died this morning
I need my caffine! Eyes won't open, can't function!

Had to make it the old fashion way - boiled water on the stove and poured it through the grounds... but at least I got my morning fix.

I'll be off to the store later today to buy a new coffee maker.

1. Hey...Take up tea.....
I know it would be hard to switch, but tea is much better for you and it has lots of caffeine.... :smoke:

2. yeah my less than two yr. old Krups
died last month. Something is wrong with the auto shutoff and it must be unplugged now after brewing. Pisses me off because the damn thing was $130. Would cost more to ship and wait to have fixed because it is now out of warranty.

What was my first clue? MADE IN CHINA.

Can't we PLEASE start making things in the US again????

4. I'm doing that a lot now...
even though my coffemaker works.

Wanted to get another coffee press, but found a gadget for 2 bucks in the local Job Lot that works great.

5. Don't get a coffee maker, get a coffee toddy
My husband just got one and loves it! You pour COLD water through coffee grounds, making a coffee concentrate that is not acidic. When you want a cup, you put the concentrate in a cup of hot water. He loves it, and has thrown away the old coffee maker.
