Dammit! They had to choose TODAY to let my boss off jury duty
I expected him to be gone all week. It's not the reduced goof-off time I mind. Right now our manager is talking to him about some proposed changes. I can only hear my boss's half of the conversation but I can tell he is talking out of his ass and this whole thing is going to be needlessly cheneyed up. If I were on the call instead of him we could avoid all the stupid unnecessary problems I know are going to come up. There's no polite or professional way for me to just jump into the call either.
