Who will be the character outed on "The Simpsons"

Here's the original thread and I've listed some of the most popular choices. Who will be the outed Simpsons character which will actually get married on the Show (Homer get's certified to perform marriages)

1. Considering that virtually all of the characters listed...

have had episodes where they were romantically involved with members of the opposite sex apart from Patty, Smithers and Lenny, it comes down to one of those three, imo.

4. I would never discount someone who has had relations with the opposite sex

I mean, I'm sure plenty of Gays & Lesbians can tell you of how they tried to 'play it straight' before the came out

12. Lenny was apparently married at one point

There's an episode where he's briefly seen shaving a woman's leg (implication was that it was his wife's as he mentioned prior to the segment that he had to stay home that night).

Moe was always hitting on Marge, declared his lust for Maud Flanders and has 'bedded' at least 2 other women - he's just an old perve.

But Barney is a very astute choice...

10. The show hasn't been creative since '97.

So, it will be Patty or Smithers. Everybody expects Patty is a lesbian, everybody KNOWS Smithers is gay (after all, he did go to a gay resort on vacation years ago).

The writers no longer have the nerve to do anything unexpected.

or maybe the one-armed Vietnam Vet guy.

Though Milhouse was semi-outed years ago in a quick throwaway scene. But I don't think the producers would choose a pre-pubescent child to out as gay.
