What events will the Repukes copycat at their own convention

I'm seeing some great stuff at the convention and I swear the Repukes will try to copycat the same.

Some things I could see them doing:

In between speeches on the big screen, the dems show pictures of republicans who voted for Bush in 2000 but will be voting for kerry now. I'm sure repukes will copy that (in reverse)

I can also guarentee that the repukes will find some cute 12 year old to speak at the convention to support Bush.

What else will they copycat?

1. The live shots of people from around the country

such as the San Xavier Native Americans who sang the "Star Spangled Banner" in their native language. I was really moved by that.

2. Instead of the "America Remembers" they will have quotes from

recognized people giving quotes of how wonderful smirky/snarly are. Leadership quotes or something equally as lame.

3. Sons/Daughters to Introduce Bush/Cheney

4. NPR didn't give any examples...

but they noted yesterday or Monday that the Republicans had already started changing their convention to imitate some things. I sure wish our convention hadn't been first.

5. Well...

After last night, I'm sure Laura Bush is being forced to learn 'Mexican' or to brush up on her pig Latin.

They'll probably have a token black or at least brown-skinned (perhaps Arabic, or perhaps just Pat Robertson or Franklin Graham with a deep tan) speaker in a sad attempt to counter Obama's awesome speech last night.

7. Oh, they'll have more flags I'm sure

They're still desperate to play that "patriotism" card they think they have, and they'll try to out-red, white, and blue our convention. This gang can be counted on to overplay its hand - even when it doesn't have a hand to play.

And can you imagine them being "tactful" in speaking of 9*11?

I am expecting a shallow, tacky, and hypocritical display from the pugs.

And today there are reports jerry fallwell will be opening the con-vention.
