Poll question: Best Situation Comedy EVER!
There really are a lot to choose from, but I have to go with The Andy Griffith Show. This is one of the only shows I know that has humor that is timeless, that never sought cheap shots or contemporary or topical laughs. It only gets laughs based on the human condition. This show will be funny 50 years from now. On the other hand, All in the Family (which was very topical and political) makes me laugh my ass off even today.

So go for it. What do you like?

So was Clifton Davis.

Little Richard was in the pilot as well, but he was replaced by someone else to play the same guy....

Although I've got to admit having chuckled a time or two watching (in no particular order) Wings (pilots Brian and Joe, the Cheers spin-off), Fawlty Towers, Taxi, Are You Being Served, and some of the later episodes of Black Adder.

16. I Love Lucy
I don't know if it qualifies as a "sitcom" but that show has always made me laugh, even today. Some of the episodes such as the one with William Holden where she sets fire to her nose, or the one with Charles Boyer where she ruins his clothes and makes him look like a street bum are classics that will never die.

But I also do love all of the sitcoms mentioned in the list.

I really enjoyed "Mad About You" up till they decided either Paul or Jamie or both should have an affair. Immediately followed by them having a baby. It took the last train to Sucktown at that point, but up till then it was one of my favorites.

Actually, that might have been the days of the sketch humor shows--Sid Caesar, Ernie Kovacks.

But even the silliest Situation Comedy is better than Reality TV.

And there ought to be a separate poll for the Brit comedies.
