It's a long story. But I tried to get someone from Dayton to adopt that as their official slogan.

17. New Orleans, Vegas, LA, NY and a dark-horse....
Houston

More Gentlemen's Club than anyplace I've ever been to...
Some of the most gluttonous people in the country...
Huge party scene....
Because of the heat, everyone walks around with hardly any clothes on...
No respect for the environment...

How's that for hedonistic behaviour???

23. "everyone walks around" in Houston?
Nope. They drive their SUV's. Not really; I actually commute by bus, myself. And recreational walking occurs in certain neighborhoods.

But we do have lots of good places to eat.

And there are many Gentleman's Clubs (AKA Titty Bars).

26. True enough....
But once they get out of their Vee-hickles, they must walk. for instance, at one of the numerous malls...or restaurants.

22. East St. Louis
Edited on Wed Jul-28-04 03:23 PM by JVS
A few years ago one of the participants in the NAQT quizbowl national tournament in Saint Louis was found strung out in a hotel room in East Saint Louis. Any town decadent enough to turn a quizbowl nerd into a raging druggie, definitely has a good hedonism factor going on.

To get an idea of the kind of people Quizbowlers are, read here http://www.naqt.com/biographies.html
Usually poindexters.
