Best Part of Last Nights (Tuesday) Daily Show?
For me it was when Jon Stewart was talking about Hillary Clinton, showing her saying "It is my proud honor to introduce the last great democratic president" and Jon Stewart says "Oh my god, the brought FDR back to life?!"

I laughed soooo hard at that. :D :D :D :D :D

Anyone esle? Other favotire moments?

2. I don't have enough eyes to roll...
:eyes: :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: :eyes:

It wouldn't suprise me. I have noticed more and more how polarized DU has become.

The Daily Show is News Entertainment comedy.

When they make fun of Bush it is funny. But making fun of Kerry makes DUers upset? :wtf:

3. Jon was saying that Clinton was not a great president
and I personally think he was--it wasn't easy to change deficits into surpluses the way Clinton did. I didn't think the statement was funny at all.

By the way, if you don't like Clinton, then you don't like FDR because Clinton protected FDR's programs. Bush is trying to undo everything that FDR did.

5. Can you explain something to me?
Do you find the Daily Show funny when they make fun of Rumsfeld and Bush and Chaney?

Then how did you not find that funny?

TDS is a *COMEDY* program.

They made a joke at Clinton's expense. OH MY GAWD!! Let's go boycott them!! (/sarcasm)

What do you want?

Should TDS only make fun of Republicans and Independents? Should they not dare to mock Democrats?

14. Actually, I don't think the jokes about Bush and company
are funny if you mean do I think fun when I see them.

I think Jon Stewart is more like the fool in Shakespeare's plays. The fool could say things that no one else could get away with because he was willing to accept being called a fool.

Jon Stewart is able to point out truths that the networks can't (because of their corporate owners) because his is a comedy show.

But what he says about Bush is not funny funny.

I personally think that so much is at stake in this election that I am not happy when he acts as though the Dems are as ridiculous as the Repubs.

The consequences of Clinton's sex life did not affect me personally the way Bush's policies on Iraq, the economy, and the envioronment have.

7. Did John Stewart say....
why he thought Clinton was not a great President? Considering the Arkansas Project spent millions of millions of dollars and the right wing congress spent even more millions to come up with something to "get" Clinton, Clinton did a hell of a job under the circumstances. He never let the media/repubs/Arkansas Project get to him that he stopped governing and looking out for this country...while the retards in congress were talking about a BJ, Clinton was bombing bin Laden and fighting off terrorist attacks.

8. No.
I don't think Jon was actually saying that he was a bad President, just that FDR was better. Or maybe the even simpler explanation was it was funny.

4. Ed Helms comment...
"I will be asking inappropriate questions to Teresa Heinz-Kerry and showing embarrassing, irrelevant photos like this..."

Jon: "Thank you, Ed. That seems very irresponsible."
