What's Your Favorite "Schoolhouse Rock"?

Source: http://www.school-house-rock.com/

There were so many of them, I couldn't set up a poll. My personal favorite is "Conjunction Junction".

6. I like "Elbow Room"...

...gotta teach that imperialism early, while it still makes sense.

I always wondered how Shooolhouse Rock was able to push both absolutes (science and math) with debateable political ideology...

But maybe I'm reading too much into it.

11. Eh....I think you're reading too much into it.
Westward expansion is part of our history, for good or ill. Besides, how can you not love a song that give you all of the following information:

--Louisiana purchase
--Louis & Clark expedition
--Sacajawea! (no clue on the spelling)
--manifest destiny
--transcontinental railroad
--California gold rush
--space travel

Mmmm, hmm...."Westward expansion"? Or perhaps MANIFEST DESTINY GALACTIC IMPERIALISM?!

16. Well, since we're not seeing a moon base anytime soon....
...that line doesn't get me too worked up. ;-)

18. Did someone say "moon base"?! That reminds me of the Mars Mission...
GWB’s Monorail, sung to the tune of “The Springfield Monorail Song”:

GWB: “Well, there’s nothing on Earth like a genuine, Senate-approved, citizen-funded, porkbarrel of a Mars Mission”

GWB: “What’d I say?”

Public: “WMDs?!”

GWB: “Once again!”

Public: “Deficit?!”

GWB: “One more time!”

Public (reluctantly) “Uh…Mars Mission…mars mission…mars mission….”

Citizen: “Is there a chance we’ll over-spend?”

GWB: “Count on it, sucker…I mean ‘friend’!”

Citizen: “What about our deficit?”

GWB: “HA! I don’t believe in it!”

Citizen: “I hear those things are awfully costly.”

GWB: “Sorry sir, I think you’ve lost me”

Citizen: “We need that cash for social programs”

GWB: “In space, our problems will weigh no grams!”

Citizen: “Do you think this gets you in to heaven?”

GWB: “(mumble…mumble)…Nine-Eleven!

GWB: C’mon you know you have no choice, throw up your hands and hold your voice”

All: MARS MISSION, MARS MISSION, MARS MISSION!!”

Citizen: “but who on earth is going to fund it?”

GWB: Don’t ask me, just trust the pundits!”

All: MARS MISSION! MARS MISSION! MARS MISSION!

7. Conjunction junction, what's your function?
My 9th grade English teacher claimed to have written that for a contest (which he won), but we all suspected him of being a liar.

9. Remember that guy with the wobbly knees
feeling kind of week in the knees, hankering for a hunk of cheese.

Bwahahahahaha

I just thought of that and cracked myself up. Excuse me, please continue.

12. That was "Time for Timer"
Hey, here's orange juice and milk and toast,
Just waiting to be taken,
And bless my soul,
Right Here's a bowl,
With one cold piece of steak in.
A hard boiled egg,
A chicken leg,
Or cheese or luncehon meat,
Or a peanut-butter sandwich any time of day's a treat,
So to stop your mother grumblin',
And stop your stomach grumblin',
And to keep your legs fro stumblin' when you play,
You've gotta eat some kind of breakfast everyday.

Cold steak or a chicken leg for breakfast? No wonder the seventies are over!

15. Just too many good ones to choose from.
Three is a Magic Number
Rufus Xavier Sarsaparilla
Tale of Mr. Morton
Preamble
Noun Is a Person, Place or Thing
Conjunction Junciton
I'm Just a Bill
No More Kings
Sufferin' Till Suffrage

Now the NEXT question is--is anybody so sentimental that they get choked up by any of these? For me, it's No More Kings.
