Why is the media so concerned about "Bush bashing" and whether or not DEMOCRATS are nice to the worst president ever?
Does anyone think that Candy Crowley is going to tell Dick Cheney that he was "off message" if he attacks Kerry?
There's so much to bash without personal attacks. But, attacking the results of his lack of skills is not a personal attack.

1. Most people want to vote FOR someone, not against someone. |
|
People get turned off to totally negative campaigns. Instead, mention the other fella's failings, and show where you'd do better. People want to know HOW you're going to fix things; they already know stuff's broken.

7. I agree, but it seems to be more about them than us. |
|
There's more than enough things to speak about other than Bush's failings. However, I'm concerned that the media is really pushing the issue of "Bush bashing" as if democrats have an obligation to only say nice things about him.

2. For some reason, people feel sorry for him |
|
Maybe because he's so obviously not up to the job.
Maybe they think it's unfair to attack or even confront someone who is obviuosly suffering from some sort of learning disability, even though nobody ever comes out and says it. He can never deal with a confrontation about his own failed policies, it's like he never really understood them in the first place (which I personally believe is the case). Sad.

4. It will be interesting to see what the Republicans do at their convention |
|
They can't talk about their miserable record on domestic issues, national security issues, or the war on "terra".
So what do they have left other than to bash Kerry/Edwards?
I just hope the Dems come out swinging after the Republicans sling the first shot. I feel it coming.

Kerry/Edwards: See how nice we're playing...
The the 527's can come in and excoriate Shrubya's ass as he so well deserves. Their hands are clean and still the message gets out. Like I've been saying... bout time Dems got some balls...

6. Kerry/Edwards are playing chess, not checkers |
|
Right now, the repugs are looking like the pathetic attack slimeballs that they are with their ridiculous "truth" squad.
Every one of the speeches at the convention has been extremely critical of the policies of this administration. . .but is all about the Issues and The Policies, and that is the way it outta be right now.
