1. I liked the Derek Flint movies.
James Colburn was wonderful as Derek Flint. They were geared for laughs, which I liked. Just campy as hell. :-)

15. The Destroyer
aka Remo Williams

Not the crappy 80s movie but the book series that started in the 70s (and continued for 150 issues or so).
Ok, maybe he's more of an assassin than a spy or agent but... damn is he cool!

10. I was so upset when Patrick MacNee (sp?) showed up on another
series as a villain.

I always liked him.

It was a great show, but I never thought of it as a spy show, but as a crime drama. It could be-he went undercover to catch all these international criminals. My favorite story arc was Mel Profit.

16. Other: "The Sandbaggers"
Edited on Thu Jul-29-04 11:04 AM by Tummler
In my book, nothing else is even close (on edit: among continuing series).

Tons of info on this little-known series: http://opsroom.org

Among mini-series, I'd rank Edge of Darkness; Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy; and Smiley's People right up there.
