1. there, there, he'll be OK
someday, a long long time from now, when he can rest knowing America has been saved. Till then, well, just don't look. ;)

You did your nation a great favor, the way you raised that boy of yours!
:loveya:

2. A few good meals...
Some sleep and he'll be as right as rain, R. Perhaps a stern talking-to might be in order as well. Something about taking better care of himself.

But it would be far too much to expect him to eat his veggies. You musn't embrace magical thinking. ;-)

7. I am somewhat sad tonight.
And when I'm sad, I worry about the people I love. That is probably normal. Today I finally buried Raven. I have had her ashes for a few months but not the gravestone. And, of course, during the winter the ground has been too hard. I ordered her gravestone and it finally came. It's a flagstone, not very substantial, but very lovely. My friend Frank, who takes care of this place, took the flagstone about 2 weeks ago. He was back today. He had secured the flagstone to a piece of NH granite///a good substantial stone. We dug a hole in a lovely clearing here, where Raven can watch the lake, and we buried her ashes. My old dog, Gypsy watched us carefully. The puppy romped around not understanding any of it. She has a hard act to follow. With this post, I am finally crying...thanks for your patience...

8. Hey, kiddo, I'm so sorry your sad tonight.
I lost my dog of 14 years last March, on my birthday. I was out of town when she was put down, but my son & daughter were at her side. I still hear her bark to come in every day. Her ashes are still in my living room. We're having a wedding for my daughter, so we're going to wait until this fall, & take her ashes to her favorite spot, an arboritum she so loved. I still have video of her romping around there a month before she passed away. I share your sadness.

10. Ah, Raven, tis indeed a sad time then
Know your evilDUers pals are with you in spirit. And your beloved Raven will always be near you.

Our fur pals love so much that they leave a big hole don't they?

Flash for Will Pitt, somebody tell him to call his mom and tell her he's OK!

Hugs for Raven :grouphug:

12. Arrroooooooooo!!!
I am demented. Deranged. On the way to being disabled. My feet gave out on Tuesday, and my7 back has started seizing and spasming tonight. I am in a lot of pain, tirerd, sick of crowds, and frankly, sick of hearing "Courage" and "Leadership" clarioned at my head 40,000,000 times in the last 100 hours.

Other than that, I'm supah.

One more night...and then a 7:20am plane to Seattle for Rolling Thunder...then home, and finally some rest.
