Great Job DUers -- You raised $40,000 for John Kerry in ONE MONTH!

We got a late start fundraising for Kerry -- DU only started raising money on July 1, so we've only had one month. But what a month it was!

DU members totally blew past our wildest expectations, raising an astounding $39,974 in only 29 days! That's the official total of donations made through my personal Kerry supporter page. The total does not include donations from the numerous DU members who donated in other ways.

Great job, DUers! You have really made a difference!

Later this month, we'll start fundraising for other Democrats!

I was wondering how much was raised. I was proud to contribute again.

I have to be careful because each time I watch an inspiring Dem speech I want to give $100. There's much more inspiration than I have 100s.

was that I'm totally tapped out by prior contributions to local fundraisers.
