Poll question: Men, do you shave your axillaries?
Armpits.

My mother informed me at one point that I was supposed to be shaving my axillary hairs but I gave her one of my patented "what are you on" looks and she never mentioned it again.

1. No, I don't shave my armpits.

I am, however, guilty of a double standard. I prefer women who do.

2. No
And I've always wanted to have some pit hair to yank on during the deed. I think that would be fun.

4. No
You've got to kidding? I don't and I don't really care if my wife dose. But she dose.

5. I shave mine; but I've always had a compulsion
to plat the pit hairs of the men I've been with. Don't know why.

7. No, but my anal-retentive father-in-law did. He was an orthopedic surgeon.

He changed shirts three times a day. He is in the loony-bin now. Shall we say less fastidious than earlier years? He is pitiful at 90. That's what a life of alcohol and meprobamate do to you. Scary thing is that he did surgery until about 1990.

Airline pilots are drug and alcohol tested. Physicians are not. Of course, they can only kill one patient at a time. I could wipe out 146 souls if I fucked-up in a Boeing 737-400 due to substance abuse.

10. Hey! We need you over in the 9/11 Forum.
As a professional pilot, I'm interested in your take on this...

http://www.apfn.org/apfn/77_deastman2.htm

Specifically:

"Here is the "Reagan National Airport Explanation" of the Disappearing Act of Flight 77:

With its engines off so that its silence was remarked by Riskus and other witnesses, Flight 77 approached the Pentagon's west wall at an angle much closer to 90 degrees than the 45-degree approach of the killer jet. That is, it came from the west rather than the northwest. And it never got lower than 100 feet while over the Pentagon. (The Pentagon is 71 feet high.)

At a speed between a third and two-thirds that of sound and leveling from its necessarily accelerating dive, Flight 77 was over Reagan National Airport before the sound of the killer jet's crash reached the Capitol Building or Washington Monument -- --since the airport begins only one mile from the crash. Disappearing from the sight of turnpike observers, behind the explosion, and blending in with routine airport traffic was accomplished in less than 7 seconds -- the plane was closer to the airport than to the Pentagon in less than 3.5 seconds."

I'm an ATC, but not a pilot. Just how would a 757 fly "with its engines off" at "a speed between a third and two-thirds that of sound"? How would it, from an altitude of 300-400' AGL even make it to an airport a mile away with it's engines "off"?

Thay say all KINDS of crazy things over there...you should come see...

:)

11. as a matter of fact -
yes. I find that deodorant works much better if it actually gets to the pores rather than just lying on top of a big ol' clump of hair.

just one more useful thing I learned from women.

man smart, woman smarter :D
