In today's mail at work arrived my copy of "Recombo DNA," a 2-CD set of Devo basement tapes, demos & outtakes, limited to 5000 numbered copies. Mine's number 4270. It kicks the ass. Unconditionally recommended to all mutants, young alien types and brain-eating apes.

We are going to have to get a DU DEVO Con party going. It happens once a year in Ohio, so I can't imagine that it is hard to plan for.

I'm 25 minutes from Akron, and I've still never made it down for one of those. Every year, it seems, I have a schedule conflict that prevents me from attending. One of these years...
