UPS Service

Out of the last 10 deliveries, I've had to go to the
UPS distribution center 8 times to pick my package up...
has anyone else had any problems with UPS service?

1. nope I leave the yellow slip on the door and tell them where to

leave it and they do :)

2. You can sign a release asking them to leave your package

But they can't be responsible if someone steals it - that's their policy, AFAIK.:hi:

3. Yes I just did.

Last Friday in fact. Waited home all day for my new laptop to arrive. Checked the tracking number again on the site and it said delivery was attemped and no one was home. Three of us were home all day waiting. I had to go pick it up or not have it until Monday. No note was left.

They should leave a note for you.

That's happend to me with a couple of drivers.

I never use them if I have a choice. Perhaps the best rant on them I've heard is a poster on a Porsche forum I'm on sold a muffler to a private party and sent it UPS, COD (even made sure it was clear that personal checks were NOT to be accepted). The delivery guy accepted a personal check from the recipient and it bounced.

UPS's reaction? Yeah, we accepted a personal check when we weren't supposed to. If you want us to make good on it, file in small claims court.
