DOGS RULE CATS HISS (especially Merlin if you try to carry him anywhere
while he's in his cat harness)

What are you cat people going to do? Have your kitties meow me awake at 6 AM? Big deal I have a kitty and he does that already.

1. I do like the fact that you don't have to actually pet cats.
You can just hold your hand out and they will pet themselves. A low-maintenance thing I guess. But my black lab on the other hand, will smack you with her nose until you pet her.

2. Or you don't actually make a kitty purr or you just pet it and it purrs
itself.

4. I thought that you were a cat person, Valerie5555
I have had both, as well. I find cats to be lower maintenance, since they use litterboxes and I have to take my dogs outside. But they all demand petting. My dog, Sara, scratches me with her paw if I stop; my beloved kitty, Rhiannon, poked me, if I wasn't paying enough attention. I don't think it's a matter of species; I think it's personality.
