1. Watched "Secret Window" a couple of weeks ago
Johnny Depp is cool, and the movie's pretty good (I would have liked a different ending tho).

3. Two of my favorite new release movies --

"The Station Agent"(2003) & "Monsieur Ibrahim"(2004)...

Two must-watch movies about wonderful friendships.

Both are funny and beautiful...

7. OK i rented The Station Agent and
The Machurian Candidate, it's got a bunch of extras on it. I heard on CNN this morning that John Frankenheimer actually drove RFK to the hotel in california where he was killed later on that day.

9. I just finished the original Manchurian Candidate
Wow, what a mind trip. Really outstanding and Angela Landsbury was amazing in it. The most trippy part and it was way ahead of it's time IMHO was the brainwashing scenes, especially the ladies gardening club, just unreal. I wouldn't paint * as Shaw, I'd say he was more Senator Isilin, a complete and utter idiot and Mrs. Isilin i would compare to Cheney. If you haven't seen it i would recommend seeing especially if you plan to see the remake.

6. If you're interested in a good Japanese movie... (B+W)
The Zatoichi series is very good. It's about a blind samurai, and is black and white.

Kurosawa's "Seven Samurai" is also *very* good.
